About Me: I was born and raised in Hayward, California, and while I grew up in the Bay Area so very close to Silicon Valley, it somehow felt out of reach. I did not become aware of the possibilities that existed in STEM for a Latina girl such as myself until high school! Throughout college I participated in a variety of volunteering events to encourage the next generation in STEM.
Now as a Sr. Quality Engineer, I created this blog to inspire others with my life experiences through the lens of a Latina Engineer; while I continue to navigate unknown spaces from working in Corporate America to my personal life and everything else in between. I hope my stories can help you navigate your career and empower you to be your best self. I also wish to be the mentor for you, that little Belia wishes she had growing up.
